RDR2 Mods Discussion

I've searched quite a bit for any mods that do this, and I haven't been able to find anything. I'm having a lot of fun shooting waves of lawmen, but at certain times it seems I can't 100% tell where I'm being shot from, and since I have a difficulty mod installed it gets annoying as hell for me. Not only that but I just think it looks better over the simple black vignette on the screen. Is there any way to pull that kind of thing off?

How can you load a texture from a external ytd file?

Currently working on a mod. I'm a little lost and hope someone can point me in the right direction.. (C++) Is there a native function that checks whenever the player is eating/drinking? Hi everyone! Been a while since I had time to write any script... missed it. I think there is lack of knowledge about ped task ids. Which ones do you know? I'm talking about the task index parameter for this native function: I know only that 399 = is ped hogtied. (Thanks to LMS) Which ones do you know? To be more specific, I'm looking (for a lot of time actually) for a way to find out whether the player holds up a ped with his lasso, and which ped it is. hello, I was just wondering if there is any way to save while cheats are active, I use the save file editor but the cheat options results dont show up in my game, I would love to be able to get all the outs in one fell swoop.

I downloaded red dead offline, and deleted it a little later, but since then I have lost many crafting recipes that should always be open. The recipes come back when I install the mod back, but I don't want to play with it. How can I fix the game?

So I am wondering how to play a video ingame like how rampage does but I don't want to be limited to the videos that it only can play, so like play the video that usually plays when you start the game. Anyone know how to make PEDs ignore dead bodies? Normally they walk up to the body then walk away, like they're fleeing (but only walking, not running) and they will do this instead of what I'm telling them to do. Thanks!

After about 4 hours of trying to make mods work, i finally got it. the issue however, is that Lenny's simple trainer doesn't work. this is quite unfortunate, as it's a nice mod. the mod tester works just fine, but i cannot open simple trainer. i dont have any clue why this could be, but when i press F5 nothing happens. i also dont get an audio que when the game starts up.

Hello, I recently played rdr2 and tried to mod it. this however, didnt work. I have no clue what i did wrong, and i haven't found anything to resolve the issue. According to the mod loader im in the right folder, but i cant download mods using the mod manager for example, nor do they work in game. what also doesnt help is that the mod tester is nowhere to be found (which is probably my fault for overlooking it), so there isn't an effective way of testing whether it works or not. Could this be because i bought the game on steam? i could technically buy it on rockstar if thats the issue, but i would prefer to find a fix this way. this is what my fold…

So, thanks to the super work of others, we have wagon and stagecoach missions, contracts, Bounty hunting, and train missions. What we need are contract missions using the boats in RDR2. Ideally, it would involve more than canoes or rowboats. This would be an involved development, since we cannot yet have waypoints in the waterways. The challenge is on!

I am looking for a mod that will prevent Arthur/John/player character from ever dying in the game. Cores should deplete as normal, but no dying. If I knew anything at all about making mods, I would do it myself, but since I am way too stupid to figure it out, I would appreciate if someone with the know-how to do it. Thanks!

I love this trainer's bodyguard system.(especially for the lassoing feature). but I really hope there will be an option to change the bodyguard's accuracy. The spawned bodyguards miss target too often!

Have you ever thought about warming your character by buttoning-down your clothing, or just wanting to modify the appearance of your shirt/coat, a mod that does this should do the trick. It bothers me that you have to tolerate a coat or shirt that doesn't let the player manually choose how many buttons should be buttoned-down. The game only lets you pick between 2 options for a shirt, and no options for a coat. I'm surprised no one has made a mod for this yet.

The beeping is audible, but when I press F5, a small rectangle that's what I assume is the menu, briefly flashes for a second and then dissapears.
