  1. Limiting your active loadout strictly to what Arthur can physically carry on his back, shoulder, and sidearms would drastically transform the immersion and tactical depth of single-player free-roam. The vanilla game's mechanic of storing an entire portable armory inside your saddlebags definitely ruins the realistic survival tone Rockstar was aiming for. You can actually achieve a similar setup right now using mods like Ped Damage Overhaul or script plugins via LML (Lenny's Mod Loader) that restrict saddlebag inventory and clear unequipped weapons automatically. A dedicated standalone script that forces all unequipped firearms directly into the Camp/Hotel Weapon Locker would be a fantastic addition for hardcore realism playstyles.
  2. While syncing RDR2's complex story missions is a nightmare, basic position and ped model syncing for free-roam using a custom P2P socket plugin is definitely achievable. Existing frameworks like RedM already handle multiplayer ped streaming, but a lightweight ASI plugin specifically tuned for single-player campaign free-roam would be amazing for casual exploration without setting up dedicated servers. The biggest hurdles will be managing host-client entity ownership, sync smoothing to prevent rubberbanding, and avoiding crashes when interacting with local world events.
