Ped Damage Overhaul
New beta. @SAC implemented the noose audio stuff for health boost also (what we talked about in the DMs). Fixed a bug where NPCs wouldnt use injured animations when hit in the leg or both legs. Adjusted the ini for injured animation speed (otherwise NPCs with damaged legs would never fall down, because the injured animations prevent them from running fast). Ped Damage Overhaul
@comfytimegamer Welcome 🙂 I am the original creator (together with @fitfondue), but currently (and it will stay this way for a while, supposedly) I dont have the time to properly improve this mod (properly = make a concept for a next version, implement new features, test everything, release new version). Sometimes I can take an hour of my spare time to code some new stuff or fix some bugs, but for proper testing I almost never find the time - thankfully there are some people willing to test and provide feedback. If then enough features have been added or bugs have been fixed, I release a new official version. The inis I upload here are about 95% usable, I would say. Small things like bleeding values and invincibilty settings are changed before the release, but most of it stays the same (otherwise the testing done by the community would be for nothing).

@SAC Please check if the noose health boost situation is now solved (asi attached). To clarify how I go about it: I check if an NPC is marked by TYL (shtivi told me to look for a decorator called "TYL_hanged" with which he marks the hanged NPCs). If this NPCs feet are in the air (and the NPC is currently not being carried, etc.), each second the NPC gets the health boost added to its health. Since I dont have the code of TYL, I wouldnt know what to look for (concerning the damage and health boost problem). What I did now is I changed the way I add the health boost - let me know if it helped. As for the hogtying problem: do the NPCs also die if you shoot them (in the foot, for example)? Edit: had another idea - made the health boost interval configurable in the ini and set it to 1500 milliseconds - this way the deduction and the boost hopefully dont interfere with each other. Better Player Humidity
Very cool mod which makes me use my different outfits more. The only wish I have left is duster jackets not creating heat in the desert (so I can roam the desert towns looking like some dude from an old spaghetti western 🙂).

RDR Contracts
Immersive mod which I have played with for a while now. It makes the "endgame" towns feel more alive and adds an unlimited amount of new side missions to the game. Bravo 🙂

Great idea, the New Austin part now feels much more lived in. Although there are no dynamic events or mini games in the towns as of now, I can only reward this creation with five stars. Keep up the good work!

New beta. @SAC the last described problem should now be solved (the bleeding should not stop on the threshold exactly). @Henk90 could you try this latest beta please and report back? @Gintero this mod does no measurements of distances, those are the vanilla mechanics. What do you mean by "walk for 40 seconds then fall down"? @ggNaisu since there is no proper documentation, I honestly dont know for sure. But according to our tests, the peds around the player character are the ones affected. @masisork1741 I tweaked the ini hoping it would help your problem. Could you please test? New beta. @ShirAhn I just played 20min and could not reproduce what you are reporting. Could you please tell me which hooks, trainers and mods you are using and if you edited the ini? @SAC BleedWhenShot should now not stack with BleedWhenDying. AlwaysBleedoutLonger had hardcoded bleeding values, they are now a part of the ini, so you can set them yourself (just add them to you older ini: LongerBleedingChance, LongerBleedingValue). As for the NPCs getting up and those not bleeding, maybe it has something to do with the bleedout tasks (if an NPC executes any of those specified tasks, the script will not apply to them anymore -> the tasks are supposed to be visual bleedout tasks (so NPCs can run around bleeding and are not forced to the ground all the time), but it can very well be that some of the tasks are not). Please set all the tasks at the very bottom of the ini to 0 and check if it still happens. I have no clue why the health value does not work for all the NPCs, I will have to investigate further. @ggNaisu Yeah, its my testing ini. Since I always upload new builds here with almost no delay (between programming, simple test, upload), I never change my ini. @SAC You can use the old one 🙂

Project New Austin: 1907
Oh, hi Mark! lol I dont know the vanilla Armadillo events. I was thinking about events like in Valentine - where you meet someone you saved in the wilds, get robbed, witness bar fights, etc. or are the towns "just decorations"?

Ped Damage Overhaul
@cactuscrazeHm weird. I put it on my list and will take a look at it as soon as I find the time. If I cant reproduce it, I will be back for more info.

Sounds great. Are there random events happening in those towns?

Ped Damage Overhaul
@cactuscraze@coltraz Are you using the latest beta or another version? @masisork1741 Hm, ok, thanks for the feedback. Ill put it on my list - though, as always, I have no idea when I will be able to actually do something about it.

<SOLVED> Health bar stuck at ~10% (PDO mod)
Glad you solved it :)

<SOLVED> Health bar stuck at ~10% (PDO mod)
Did you modify any of the mods config files? If so, in PDO config, check if the PlayerHealth option is disabled. This one was a bit buggy and Im not sure if it was still present in v1.56. Other than that, did you play around with the trainer? Also I dont know what the law rebalance and red dead offline does exactly - the other ones sound like they dont touch anything concerning health values.

@Psyskellar https://www.rdr2mods.com/downloads/rdr2/scripts/42-ped-damage-overhaul/?do=findComment&comment=3781 @masisork1741 Is it random or can you reproduce it at will? @cactuscraze Could it be that you have some euphoria mod installed? As Christian W. mentioned, PDO does not seem to work as expected with those installed. @k1ng.j3wThere are two values governing the knockback: the knockback threshold and the knockback chance. The threshold defines the health under which the knockback can happen. The chance defines the chance per millisecond the NPC is in ragdoll (= if the NPC is ragdolled and knocked back by a shot, each millisecond the chance is computed if the NPC is to stay in ragdoll for longer (= staying knocked down)).

@keboks Sounds like you have friendly fire turned on. @SAC This is not how its supposed to work, I will have to check that. Wrote it on my list. @ShirAhn@ChristianW. Are you using the mod with ABs script hook? Are you using any other mods or hooks? When testing the latest beta, I didnt notice anything like the behavior youre describing. @UhOkayThen Havent tried, but it should work. @Xialoh No, you cant disable them currently. You could set them all to the same F-key and just not use this one key.

I would suggest setting the hotkeys all to the same button. Leaving them blank just sets them to the default values. Concerning your problem - I think you may have missed something. I would not be able to explain the mod suddenly not taking the ini values anymore.

Okay, thank you. I will post the solution here when I come across it :)

Need help with Visual Studio Code, please.
I have already set up my project last weekend and compiled it, but it always creates an exe file. I dont know how to change the output - I think i would have to adjust the json describing the build tasks, but dont know how. I thought that maybe there are extensions which come with dll build task jsons out of the box?

@SAC The pushing values all apply to the male NPCs. If an NPC is female, the pushing values are divided by the FemalePushModifier. So if you want male NPC to behave differently, just tweak the pushing values. Yeah, NPCs dont seem to behave like you would expect them to with TYL, unfortunately. My code is pretty straight forward and just adds health to NPCs who are hanging - I dont know why there are such problems.

Need help with Visual Studio Code, please.
Hey guys, I have been using Visual Studio Code for Python and AL programming recently and have become very fond of it (since it also supports Linux). Last weekend I have tried setting it up for mod development, but I cant seem to get it done. Does anyone have any knowledge on how I can use Visual Studio Code for building asi files (and which extensions and other programs I need)? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
