RDR2 Mods Discussion

Does anything like this exist? And if not would it be easy to create? Sadly i am not deep into rdr2 modding but it sounds like it shouldnt be imposible to give npcs a chance to pull out a lantern if the light level is too dark? I know many people who lower their brightness or even install darker night to have dark nights. But no npcs using lanterns breaks the dark night immersion a little bit.

So I'm playing the game Red Dead Redemption 2, and I'm using the Moonshiner role mod in the game, but why is there a pop up like in the picture when I play the game? please can anyone help me to solve it?

it would be very cool to make a mod where Arthur's TB while he's smoking actually kicks in. yk what i mean like, make him cough blood sometimes when he smokes and cough more. and if he smokes like 5-10 cigarettes he coughs and faints, it would be a very cool mod. not especially realistic but why not.

Seems only to work on converting ytd files when they're quite small in storage size? But sometimes on small files, it still doesnt work... Any suggestions?

Briefly, the awc files exported from OpenIV are all encrypted. Open IV itself offers no decryping services at all. I've been trying to create an audio mod, however when using Westerner's audio tool from Nexusmods (RDR2 Audio Tool at Red Dead Redemption 2 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com), an critical error repeats itself when I try to open directly exported .awc files through OpenIV, suggesting that the files are totally encrypted. The strange thing is, as I open awc replicas from other mods, it succeeds. Anyone has ideas about decrypting audio awc files?

i literaly tried everything every version of asi loader, dinput8.dll and without it lml doesn't detect game pls help

This would be a mod that fixes the quickdraw while playing in mouse and keyboard on pc. When playing in console, you can just press the fire button while your gun is hostered to quickly quickdraw without having to unhoster your weapon or aim at peds, in pc you need to improvise and while focusing in a ped with RMB, quickly press LMB and stop pressing RMB, then tapping again LMB, which is not pratical. This mod would possibilitate to simply quickdraw your gun (without using deadeye) by tapping LMB one or two times, which would probably make impossible to punch using LMB, but giving a good and pratical tool to firefights.

Im looking for something to fix this annoying issue where any weapon equipments such as bandoliers and holsters overwrite itself on other custom outfits settings when you switch outfits from horse. it doesnt have to be a mod that outright fixes this, i just need something to work around this issue.

My game version is 1436.28 and I have ScriptHookRDR2 installed, but when I install DINPUT8.DLL, my game does not open. RDR 2 Asi Loader all version does not work. If anyone plays with the same version, can you tell me which mods you use or help me?

i tried to remove my mods to play online just to check up on it but it didnt work and when i brought my mods back the game wont open, either it does error ff or randomly lags while opening, if anyone could help or knows what i should do please help, do i need to redownload lml, is my rdr screwed?

Just looking for some help with some minor things: 1. I've got the Metal Detector in SP mod, but cannot find the metal detector for sale at any of the fences. I get the prompt that tells me there are Collectibles in the area to be found with the metal detector, but I do not seem to have it available for purchase, nor is it present in my weapon wheel. Their installation and files are very similar, especially the name of the folder where the dll file is contained, but for LST it is the trainer itself, and for OC it is a trainer for changing clothes. So, won't I break the game if I put both? And also, how will Red Dead Offline behave with both mods? It's just that when installing it it says to have LST or OC.

Lately I've been having really bad issues with texture loading in my game. Every time I turn my head, textures will be super super muddy and smaller objects wont even load in for a solid couple seconds, and tons of vegetation pop in. I'm not having any bad performance issues, the fps is normal and the game's not stuttering, but the textures are loading abnormally slowly. I tried to install Lenny's Simple Trainer and Outfit Changer (separately) as written in the installation instructions, but the mod does not work

I used to play on the pirated version and all the mods worked, after finishing it I decided to buy a license. Specifically, either Script Hook or Asi Loader does not work, because it is the scripts that do not work (Lml mods work correctly). Any way to improve dead body persistence? I get bodies vanish (NPCs get recycled?) as I turn the corner in Saint Denis. I am aware of Enhanced Entity and World Persistence 1.4 at Red Dead Redemption 2 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) I have it (have not modified the ini), not sure if it's helping, but I want better persistence than that.
