RDR2 Mods Discussion

Hello, i downloaded LML and it only works if i have version 9, however whenever i try to load story it says "error FFFFFFFF". if i ignore the message the loading goes on forever, but if i click ok the game closes. If i use the most modern version of LML it doesn't detect my game (yes its in the root folder with the .exe) I checked sound devices since thats a common issue. Any ideas?

Noticed that that everytime I use the LML or trainer the duel encounters in the game glitch out. For example: In Valentine, the two guys who duel near the theater. The one that gets shot immediately gets up again and they both get violent. The only things I have installed are the LML, version.dll from the LMS trainer and the SP navy revolver. Anybody has a solution?

Hallo I found a Mod (on a other site) which let you ride bigger animals - cougars for example. Now i wonder if this is possible, is it possible with horses too? Is it possible to make the horse breed "Arabian" bigger? So that they have the same size as the "Missouri Fox Trotter" breed?

When I put the vfi file the game doesen t launch

Anybody come across a ski/snowboard mod? Is this even possible? Would the game support avalanches to get some practice with avoidance, beacons, searching, etc. Just blueskying here. Have found a few good non-avy slopes to practice sliding down but a single or two planker wanker mod would be awesome.

All my mods stopped working after updating red dead 2 through steam today. Any ideas why? Using script hook and lml.

I installed the Red Dead offline mod and it made my health extremely low like it takes 2 shots to kill me. Is there any mods out there that lets you change your player health or that would fix this?

Installed the game, installed the mod loader LML just like the video says and when I run RDR2 the loader doesn't see the game and none of the mods are loaded of course. Any help would be appreciated. -HK

Hi All I have been playing RDR2 Online and SP for about 3 years but nowadays I just focus on SP and I started using mods for RDR2 about 6 months ago, I generally always use mods in games where appropriate and they enhance the overall gaming experience I have a strange issue that causes the "Unknown error FFFFFFF" in Saint Denis only, I have done some troubleshooting based on my limited knowledge and I would appreciate some feedback. So far this is what I know and have confirmed its not a pirated version when I rename\disable vfs.asi and version.dll I can travel around Saint Denis without the game crashing …

So i recently downloaded WhyEm's DLC mod, and i realized that while i have an engraving on a gun, it changed the metal color of that part on the gun, and i really like to have engravings, is there a fix to this?

@LMS I saw that the "Rampage Trainer" allows you to reload the current game per button push (like you are in story mode and go back to the main menue and press "story mode" again). According to vfs.log, this causes the game to reload certain files/mods. This is super usefull if you working on files and want to test the result ingame. You can do a change in the file while the game is running in the background and if you want to see the result ingame, you just press the reload button and after a few seconds of loading screen, the game is using the updated file. I'm very surprised that this hasn't been made yet anywhere, at least nowhere I've looked. I just want to get rid of the delayed button presses for all actions like looting, stowing, etc.

Hi guys, just wondering about this what is the reason behind using asi over lml, and vice versa for modders when they create their mods, is it how asi or lml functions, or is it a preference?

I have the steam version everytime i try to play it says loading for a few seconds and then it says quitting and wont load the game plz help

So I have not played RDR2 for real (like actually playing, not testing and bugfixing) in quite a long time. Since the last update added FSR support, I wanted to check out game and also installed some mods. Seems like the vestigia mod removes the FSR settings from the menu. Is anybody savvy enough in game file modding to tell me what I need to change in order to get the setting back?

So basically i've installed every mod as they are intended and when i load into the story mode there are bears spawning in-air then falling from the sky, and then when i meet an npc they instantly become hostile and shoot me. Also a lot of npcs carry multiple guns, even the station clerks...

I'm a huge fan of the mini games in RDR such as dominos and poker but I have to say for realism that time period no one played texas hold'em. The most popular poker game in that time period was 5 card draw and 7 card draw was the choice at casinos. Also there were casino's all over the place, they'd play all kinds of card games, roulette and even 1 arm bandits! For realism sake someone needs to create a casino mod and make it high stakes 😁 Before you say "do it yourself" I'm too lazy to try!

Okay. I downloaded lenny's mod loader along with a few other mods and asiloader, along with scripthook. I placed their folders and such into the rdr2 root folder via steamapps but when I load my game up, lenny's mod loader connects to the game but there is no beeps and none of my mods register. My root folder screenshot is below. Everything else in rdr2 works, but no mods register and it is just the vanilla game. Anything I put into stream files don't show in-game, neither is WhyEms DLC, before you ask, no, I don't have a cracked version of Red Dead I bought it legally. The first screenshot is what is inside of my stream folder, the second is what my LML mod manager is looking like, I don't know whether the stream files are supposed to appear in the mod manager or not. The final image is what is inside of the lml folder located inside of RDR2 directory. Any help would be appreciated for I've been stuck on this for the past few days. Here are my files,

I have installed everything that were required like Script Hook, version.dll (from the lmm but i use rampage as a menu) and LML loader it self for mods. I don't know the actual problem, but when i remove LML files from game's director the game runs perfectly. Can someone pls help me with that? I just wanted to use RDR_Offline mod ;(

I suggest someone to give black bears similar behavior to grizzlies, holding your ground prevents them from attacking (yu cud try removing this feature from grizzlies, as a grizzly in real life may hardly be influenced by that action). This gives sum justification for yer hors to be scared, it gets scared from black bears despite it never attacking a human nor horse in the vanilla game. But yu shud make this a chance, not a guaranteed attack like the grizzly.
