  1. Just in case you didn't know, (at least in Story Mode). You can steal stable horses, I recommend first off to wear a mask, then bring any wagon into the stable, and shoot the floor or wall. You will be reported for "Disturbing the Peace". But before they eventually report you, vault yourself over a stable holder (or whatever it is called), and bond with a horse by feeding it, brushing it, or patting it. Then leave the stable (with or without the wagon), and whistle for the horse, usually the horse will follow you when the WANTED bar clears out. Or your WANTED level is gone. BAM, you get a free horse, doesn't matter what breed or what horse it is. You can still do it.
  2. This would make RDR2 better for sure, press a key such as F8 or F5 to turn on and off RDR1/RDR2 physics/physics engine. Such as characters not falling on the ground as soon as they get shot, (most of the time in the newer version of the Euphoria physics engine). But this doesn't just apply to combat, but wagon crashes, or free-falling in the air. Or smashing into a house with RDR1 Euphoria physics. Falling down stairs. I plan for someone to make this a long-term project. It would also be good if you didn't die as soon as you hit water from a 20 meter/28 ft. fall. Also would be good if John Marston could swim, rather than lose stamina and health as soon as he starts swimming. Also would be nice if boats didn't start sinking or your character start drowning when swimming too close to Neuvo Paraiso which is South of the San Luis River and east of the Sea of Coronado. And the land south of Flat Iron Lake or the land east of the Lanahechee River. Would be Great. :-)
  3. I don't know how I would "check if the DLLs load fine". I simply don't know that. But there is a "DLL overrides" section in the configure space of RDR2 for Lutris game launcher. This deserves a response from you, LMS.
  4. I guess I'll just wait, it's like people just redirect me to doing it by myself either because they don't know or because they don't feel like helping AT ALL.
  5. The .ini's when modified have not given me a beeping sound as stated before.
  6. I'm guessing there will be no help for the rest of the year (at least) or solutions for this game's modding on Linux.
  7. By performance differences between Linux and Windows, I meant by the performance of the mods rather than the game itself and how it runs.
  8. Whether you put that Western Bull Moose or Black Bear on your hunting wagon or not, this mod intends to allow you to make more money off the extra meat and weight of the animal.
  9. I would like a discussion about this, even if no mod can be started about this yet. Such as more to do in Manzanita Post (arm wrestling), larger animal density, more NPC's, more things to do in Rathskeller Fork, add back in Mescalero (because for some reason it's missing in RDR2), add back in Warthington Ranch, Thieve's Landing is no longer a gang hideout and turns into a town like in RDR1, add a trapper into Colter, Ambarino, repopulate Colter in the mod too. Do more things in Wapiti Indian Reservation, such as playing five finger fillet with the Natives, or selling to a butcher/trapper there. Add a bridge to more easily access Tempest Rim, Ambarino. Add high stakes Poker to Blackwater like you could play in RDR1. Add a general store or guard duty to MacFarlane's Ranch. Mexico should be obvious enough. Cause it's kind of empty, sort of speaks for itself. Add back Frontera Bridge, Butter Bridge, Ramita De La Baya Bridge, etc.
  10. Is it true that your trainer disables the world invisible sniper, i.e. the Guarma sniper, New Austin sniper etc.? If so, has it been updated, and what were those updates for? And how would you disable the Pinkertons from hunting you, when your in South West Elizabeth (Tall Trees and Great Plains regions) for example? Getting into Blackwater without the police instantaneously recognizing you even with a mask on.
  11. By the way, I run RDR2 with Wine. But I don't hear beeping sounds when starting the game or playing the game.
  12. A discussion of making a mod about the above mentioned topic. Getting horses such as the Turkoman, Missouri Fox Trotter, in the Chapters. Without glitching, save game editing, etc. But instead, modding.
  13. Wish that you could buy and keep the multiplayer clothing and weapons and horses. No one else responded to you here, so I felt the urge to respond.
  14. *R makes it too easy to get a bounty, or rather you get bounties for weird reasons. Such as "Disturbing the peace". Giving your opinion about an NPC whether it be harassment or not will eventually get you wanted even if you commited the "crime" whilst wearing a mask. But if you do get reported, (and whether you didn't wear a mask or not) . The police/law enforcement will (if they don't tell you to "move along"), attempt to arrest you with a gun, and if you don't surrender, they will shoot to kill you. Rather then lassoing and hogtieing you for committing a crime. For example, robbing a store with a full face mask or just a bandana/mask. There will be a witness, and if they report you, yet you stay in the area, and the law see you. The law enforcement will always recognize you as Arthur Morgan or John Marston. Which is absolutely confusing. *R probably did this so if you commit any crime, they didn't want to make it too easy to not get recognized as the previously mentioned people. But when you think about it, getting a $1,500 bounty in Saint Denis or the state of Lemoyne feels like it doesn't have much of an effect. Wait a few a days there and then the law won't recognize you no matter what unless you commit another "crime". But as Arthur Morgan in 1899, going to South West Elizabeth (Tall Trees and Great Plains regions/counties), the Pinkertons and/or police there won't ever travel to Saint Denis or Lemoyne and patrol the state(or any state in the game) if you get recognized as Arthur or John (except for scripted scenes in the story missions). Oh yeah, killing people in self defense can get you reported by someone. And if someone attacks the player, rather than a lawman, the lawman won't bother being involved at all or even helping you. Unless a shootout happens. Simply wearing a mask will prompt the police to tell you to "move along" or arrest you. I would also like for Arthur in 1899 to do Blackwater specific activities and events, (not necessarily unique activities.=, but for example doing bounty huntings missions from Blackwater as Arthur in 1899, playing Blackjack/Poker there, visiting a show in the theater there, drinking from the saloon, getting a picture from a photographer there, if not already possible)
  15. I've tried several times to use your trainer but I don't know how to. My performance is good when considering what my setup is. Doesn't look like the No Hitmarker mod is working even when putting DisableReticleChanges=true.
  16. I would like a discussion about the above mentioned topic. I would like for example Lenny's Simple Trainer, No Hitmarkers Mod, Humidity Core Mod, Hardcore Mod, etc. And discussions of performance differences between Linux and Windows if also possible.
