Hello, I have recently been polishing and completing a few script mods and I realized that I've made the mistake of putting off actual player input to the very end. Throughout development, the script has either been running on game load or on a function key press, and I would like to more seamlessly integrate into the game. I was for example wondering how context menu actions could be made, that is when you hold right-click on a ped or an animal there is a context menu. Is there a way to add custom actions to this? Another option I considered was something like NativeUI modding in GTA5, where you open a simple menu interface in the corn…

I write here because it's my last option. I've tried everything possible but yet, nothing worked. I found out about modded rdr2 last night and went installing Lennys and some mods from this website. Since then, rdr2 didnt wanted to start in solo, i didnt even started it with mods bc as soon as i downloaded them, my game started crashing on loading screen. Until this day i still think this website might have destroyed my game so idk what to do. I alredy checked all files of my game with steam but didnt change. Hello, This is for those survivalists whom like to roam the open world of RDR2, explore, camp, and do whatever you want outside the story. It says it can't find the LML folder I am SO confused. It says "one or more LML files could not be found in the game directory. Error: missing LML folder in Steam/Steamapps/common/reddeadredemption2/lml" but I have the LML folder already inside my game root thingy?? Help me please 😭🙏😭

Would a jump and shoot mod be possible? Seems like it could be really cool in slow motion or with dead eye. I'm thinking impossible because no one has did it and it's probably another thing to be blamed on Rockstar. But surely people have thought of something as simple as jumping and shooting, or am I the only one?

Does anyone know where I can get information on PED Flags? or PLAYER Flags. I see in RAMPAGE it has option for flags for PED's and I think PLAYER also. I would like to tinker with some of these but can not find the first bit of info on FLAGS. If anyone can point me in the direction of information or help, it will be greatly appreciated. In the least if I can find a file with several flags that I can reference and test for myself that would be okay as well. I imagine some flags wouldn't be so easy to tell what they are doing through trial and error and some would be really obvious. Seems like a headache but I'm willing to try.

In GTA5 RagePluginHook we could use World.GetRandomPositionOnStreet(), and I was wondering if anyone new of a way to do this in RDR2. I thought about using native methods, such as the "GET_CLOSEST_ROAD" native, to cobble-together a solution, but I was met with a rage crash and the log file telling me that it attempts to read or write protected memory, and therefore throws an access violation. Mavericks Weapons works for a few minutes and never worked again. LML found the game running, everything looks fine. But the mod won't activate. It used to be that you could use Game.WasKeyJustPressed() and insert a System.Windows.Forms.Keys key as a parameter, however in the latest version of RagePluginHook2's sdk.dll this method seems to have been removed, does anyone know of another way to detect key presses?

hey yall, so I'm trying to edit the catalog_sp file to allow the player to change their weapon strap color at the Gunsmith, but I'm having trouble creating the correct information for the catalog file. There's item keys for the strap colors themselves and all the database items required, but there's no the entries that actually add it to the Gunsmith catalog. I've come across this native, that allows you to deform a ped's body and face features: PED::_SET_PED_FACE_FEATURE(ped, index, value) It's the same one used in the Expression Editor mod by SergeantJoe and I've tested it using a few indexes I found, but I can't seem to find a more complete list with most if not all of the editable features. Does anyone here know where I can find a good list or maybe even how I could get them myself, by running a script in the game?

The fact that LML is buggy and requires constant file adjustments is exhausting. Do I need this version or that version? Does this mod conflict with this other mod? Just create a universal .ini or .asi file for your LML mods and be done with it.

So some of my other devs for an RP server we run created a courthouse ymap. They added some cell doors to be used as holding and for criminal defendants. However, I am looking to be able to lock these doors with my current door lock system. I have the doormodel hash and doormodel already as well as the coords. Just looking to generate the new doorhash for the door itself which I know is unique to the door alone. Hey all, i'm currently in the process of making an accurate weapon rebalance, and I wanted to know how to make an NPC spawn with a sniper rifle that doesn't have a scope. I tried adding COMPONENT_SCOPE_NONE to the Rolling Block weapon components in loadouts.ymt, to no avail. I tried replace SCOPE02 with SCOPE_NONE in weapons.ymt, and made the Rolling Blocks spawn with SCOPE02, still didn't work. Am I missing something?

Hi! My game keeps crashing and I don t know if it's because of a mod, the game was doing just fine then a mod gave me an error, I deleted that mod,renter again,saved the game,then it gave me another crash and since then my game keeps crashing when I load singleplayer,I just don t know what to do anymore. I m trying to fix this for like maybe 4 hours and no solution,I tried deleting dinput8.dll but no solution,even a couple of mods and nothing really fixes it .What can I do or how can I find some logs where I can see if a mod is causing this?

Hi, I've been trying to mod RD2, I've downloaded the RD2 Scripthook and transferred them to the gamefiles. However, my issue comes when I try to download LML, I can copy the files from the 'Modloader' folder to game files but I cannot open the 'Modmanager.UI.exe' file (the actual LML application) has anyone else experienced this or can anyone help with this? I either get the following error or the next one. I've tried to extract and then open but still get the same issue

Hopefully this is more of a simple one. I think it would be cool to have easier access to things like the lantern, pocketwatch, binoculars, camera, etc. Maybe have an ini file where you can assign hotkeys to different items on the weapon/item wheels yourself based on preference. Just a quality of life thing.
