RDR2 Mods Discussion

I downloaded AB's scripthook along with Rampage trainer and it works fine. As soon as I download Lenny Simple Trainer (specifically the version.dll file) and insert it into my RDR2 directory, the game crashes at loading screen. Apparently this or the version.dll file is needed for Red Dead Offline mod. Someone suggested that I download ASI Loader and use the version.dll file from that. Lastly, I downloaded Lenny's Mod Manager but the lml folder it comes with after extracting is empty? I'm quite sure the lml folder needs to have a stream and replace folder in it. Do I just create the folders myself and does any other mod or file go into this folder aside from the Red Dead …

The vfs.asi of LML is crashing my whenever i load into the game. When i try to move my game crashes and takes me back to the desktop. I'm trying to do a fully customized survival experience with some good mods but I have way to much ammo when I pick up a gun, the amount is already saved from my previous playthroughs and I wanna be in the epilogue for my play testing. Does any one who mods have any knowledge on this? or how to completely remove all saved ammo from my saved game?

This was a bug that was introduced ages ago and not fixed. Many are saying it's the reticle texture's transparency. Others are saying it's actually the autoaim area bracket texture with opacity turned up a bit. It's really hard to notice ingame but if you aim at the sky, you will notice it. Can someone suggest any way to fix it?

Someone should make a retexture of Arthur with an scar on his eye like Micah's and have a blind eye, so if you wore an eyepatch and the cutscene gets rid of it, it still makes sense for you to wear the eyepatch.

Hello, was wondering if it's actually possible to put online peds into the "Dismember Everyone" mod, or is there something their YMT file has that doesn't allow that to happen?

Nothing special, but I feel that the campfire smoke in RDR2 is definitely too high and it feels unrealistic. That was in RDR1 more immersive. Would be more realistic when the smoke would be about half as high. Maybe a mod maker would be able to change that?

In the rampage trainer there is a whole section where you can change player walk styles. What is the native for changing the walking style? And is the list available somewhere? I have no idea for the name of the native and I searched the modrdr wikis and alloc8or's rdr3 documentation for the list, yet I didn't find anything.

I'm unfortunately not a great coder, so I would do this if I knew how. Hoping for a mod to have guns explode, into parts if possible, with minor explosive damage to the ped/player if it needs cleaning with a 1% possibility. The gun has no way of coming back and is affectively deleted from game with it's components left strewn behind perhaps. The bullet can still be shot if it explodes with terrible accuracy if needed. It would makes the game more survivalist and immersive. I'll look into how to do it, but I don't know where to start with this one myself. Check out this video to see it irl

Could you explain how do I roll up sleeves in Rampage Trainer without using camp? Whenever I use camp wardrobe, it reverts to my default game outfit, and I need the one I assemled in Rampage Trainer with rolled up sleeves. Also, If I create an outfit without a shirt on, the gloves are clipping with fingers. And sometimes torso becomes invisible. Is there a way to fix it?

Hi, I know there use to be a mod like that, PED Silencer, but it's not working anymore. I was wondering if someone know how can I mute only Arthur lines while playing the solo. I would like to do the story with a female skin and it's hard to be immersive with that strong male voice haha. Thanks ! :)

Can someone help me with the installation of why em's dlc because I have followed the instructions by the publisher correctly but it doesnt seem to work in the game. I also downloaded version.dll so that is not the problem I think.

I tried to get an NPC to mount my horse in various ways including PED.Task.MountAnimal(Game.Player.Character.CurrentMount, -1);, and Function.Call(Hash.TASK_MOUNT_ANIMAL, PED, Game.Player.Character.CurrentMount, -1, 0, 2f, 0, 0, 0);, but none of these work. The ped just stands there and doesn't do anything. Any clue how to do this?

I've been trying to give my ped a beer bottle scenario where you can drink / drop it (I found it in the rampage trainer) but it doesn't do anything. Hey all. Finally decided I would play through red dead and the stupid cinematic black bars that show up during cutscenes are pissing me off. Went to go grab a mod to remove them but I cannot for the life of me get it working. This is the first time I've modded red dead and all I want is this one mod. I've installed LML, I've tried deleting the settings files, I've tried different versions of LML but it just won't work. The mod page doesn't really give any useful info. Does anyone know how you would remove cocking from the Volcanic Pistol or Repeaters? Not the reload at the end, but the cock in between shots I guess? So it fires continuously? I've attached a video of the action being performed in RAMPAGE trainer and it looks good however they have done it. I know the obvious is just use rampage and turn it on when you need it and turn it off when you don't need it. Thing is I don't NEED it. Scripthook is broken (well the game is broken) as of the latest update released 6 hours ago by R*. It's tossing a FATAL: Can't find native 0x4170B650590B3B00. This leads me to believe that they've changed the memory position for certain elements crucial to scripthook's operation (Native file location). I can't fix it. Any brave souls out there know how to fix this?

Lately, every attempt to log into the Rockstar launcher has returned with an error saying that the sign-in token couldn’t be found, even though there’s no such thing as a sign in token. All attempts to fix this have failed. thus, I come here to ask: are there any mods out there that can allow me to launch the game without having to use the Rockstar launcher?

Anyone else get the Steam Update yet? It was about 2.93GB and it broke my game. Currently reinstalling and will install mods one by one and see if I can get it playable. I see a little bit of smoke from the opening animation and then it freezes and crashes. Doesn't get to Rockstar Legal Screen or anything. Game was playing perfectly fine the day before. Woke up and seen I had to update. I tried to play without updating but it wouldn't let me. The Rockstar game launcher kept saying it couldn't validate or something. Hello, back month ago there was no issue but know i have freeze with 10.1 10 9 and the other 8 7 6 the game won't start, i go from 110 fps to 60 from nowhere with lml and without i'm very smooth 90 to 110, i can still use a lot of mod but still, any idea please ?
