Expand Description Online Resource Loader Framework (ORLF) is a resource-loading framework designed to properly integrate Red Dead Online content into Story Mode while maintaining functionality that is often missing when using traditional Online content loaders. Rather than simply making Online assets available, ORLF focuses on loading the necessary resources and dependencies required for those assets to function correctly within the Story Mode environment. Many existing Online content loaders focus solely on unlocking or exposing Online assets in Story Mode. While functional, this approach can leave behind missing resource references that result in issues such as: Missing ambient sounds. Incorrect weapon audio. NPC dialogue and voice line problems. Incomplete asset functionality. ORLF addresses these problems by loading the required resources and supporting files, allowing Online content to behave more closely to its intended implementation. FeaturesLoads Red Dead Online resources into Story Mode. Resolves ambient audio issues commonly associated with Online content. Fixes weapon sound issues affecting Online weapons and related assets. Restores NPC voice lines and dialogue playback that may not function correctly with other loaders. Improves compatibility between Story Mode and Online resource packs. Includes support for additional multiplayer resources introduced in later Red Dead Online updates, including Moonshiner-related content and assets associated with patchpack_mp006. Addresses various other audio-related issues and inconsistencies. Designed to serve as a framework for mods that depend on Red Dead Online assets and resources. InstallationOpen your Red Dead Redemption 2 installation directory. Navigate to the lml folder. Drag and drop the folder into the lml directory. Asset Sources Resources referenced by this framework originate from Red Dead Redemption 2 game files and remain the property of Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive. The original loader was based on assets extracted from the game's DLC archives and modified for Story Mode compatibility. An example source file is: x64\dlcpacks\mp005\dlc.rpf\content.xml Additional resources utilized by ORLF originate from various Red Dead Online DLC packs and patch packs. Extracting Original Files Original files can be extracted using OpenIV: Open OpenIV and select Red Dead Redemption 2. Navigate to the desired DLC archive, for example: x64\dlcpacks\mp005\dlc.rpf Locate the file you wish to inspect, such as content.xml. Right-click the file and select Extract. Save the file to a location of your choice. The same process can be used to examine resources from other DLC packs and related Online content archives. Credits Credit to the author of the original foundational Online resource loader whose work helped establish the groundwork for Story Mode integration of Online assets. ORLF expands upon that foundation with additional resource support, compatibility improvements, bug fixes, and integration of newer Online content.
