Tracer and Blood texture change?

Hello! I've been experimenting with the RDR2 files, specifically trying to change the textures for blood_splatter and ptfx_tracer to see what I can modify. However, whenever I try to put this into LML, the tracers and all related effects seem to completely disappear no blood splatter, no tracers, and no muzzle flash. It's a bit strange, to be honest. I was wondering if anyone knows why this might be happening. I was thinking it could be because there seem to be two different ptfx/textures.rpf files one in update_4.rpf and another in data_0.rpf.
