I can't seem to find an answer to this so I'm asking here. I have a custom ambientped and popgroups file which I'd prefer keeping intact. However, I've come across a few mods that I'd really love to have but I'm sure they would overwrite my own changes that I've made. Namely I'd like Ambient Gangs and or Restored Pedestrians Pack. Apparently from what bits I've found it IS possible to have at least one of those two mods be compatible with my own ambient and popgroups files which is great! What isn't great is that aside from just being told to merge their files with mine, no one has given me an in depth answer on how exactly to do this.

 

So, how do I go about doing this?
