Is there a mod to remove the faint box around the reticle in RDR2?

This was a bug that was introduced ages ago and not fixed. Many are saying it's the reticle texture's transparency. Others are saying it's actually the autoaim area bracket texture with opacity turned up a bit.

 

It's really hard to notice ingame but if you aim at the sky, you will notice it.

 

Can someone suggest any way to fix it?

    3. Adjust your preference.
