Anyone else get the Steam Update yet? It was about 2.93GB and it broke my game. Currently reinstalling and will install mods one by one and see if I can get it playable. I see a little bit of smoke from the opening animation and then it freezes and crashes. Doesn't get to Rockstar Legal Screen or anything.

Game was playing perfectly fine the day before. Woke up and seen I had to update. I tried to play without updating but it wouldn't let me. The Rockstar game launcher kept saying it couldn't validate or something. So I updated and that went away, game launches, but then almost immediately freezes. 

Will update on results. I can tell you this you though....If it don't want to work I'm going back to the [P] version. I understand they aren't trying to intentionally break peoples games, but DRM and UPDATES are always crap for mods. But you always come across that mod that "doesn't work with the pirated version" so you're like well I'll use the Steam Version. 

This tends to happen with every update to a rockstar game. Will need to wait for the makers of things like RagePluginHook and ScriptHookRDR2 to update their mods. Most individual mods don't often need updating every time, just the hooks that allow them to run, but we will have to wait and see.

Both LML and the ASI loader work fine on my end, not sure about RedDeadOffline as I've never personally used it.

Tried reinstalling every mode, every possible combination the problem is version.dll (asi loader) - we need an updated one to fix everything.

Are you certain that the loader is the problem and not the mod being loaded?

Download ScriptHookRDR2 V2

and replace ScriptHookRDR2.dll in the game directory.

I confirm that ( my ) mods with asi files work with the asi loader version.dll + the scripthook file linked in this comment section.

 

Lenny's simple trainer also works.

 

Although I noticed the .ini files where shortcuts and such are set does not work... So whenever you want to activate/deactivate a certain mod using its shortcuts defined in their ini files, they does not respond ingame...

 

Can anyone confirm this?

I'm using this version of script hook and just put that in my game directory. I didn't change out any other files so the version and dinput are old version files. And I have the game through steam, which launches via rockstar launcher.
