@HunterMysterouis hunter Make sure that asi loader (version.dll) is updated. The one included is outdated.

Can this mod not run with the .asi loader from ScriptHook RDR2 (dinput8.dll)? I ask because I am trying to use the Red Dead Offline mod, which requires this trainer. But the trainer will not load unless I use version.dll, which I'm trying to avoid because, from what I've gathered, it causes a few missions to softlock (An Honest Day's Labor, during Epilogue part II for instance). So I am trying to use dinput8.dll instead. But again, it won't load the trainer.
@ReflectedMantis Red Dead Offline does not need the trainer, it actually needs version.dll from the trainer which is responsible for loading the online assets, but there is now a dedicated download page for version.dll.

Okay so fixed my own problem.
First I had a problem with the mod loader having all options greyed out and not working at all.. What fixed that was the lml folder under ....steamapps>common>Red Dead Redemption 2 was in lower case. When I capitalized it to LML, I could point the mod loader to the file and the mod loader started to work.
But I was getting the above message about ModManager.Core.dll. The directions state to load the files into the same folder with the RDR2.exe but I got the warning to go away by copying the ModManager.Core.dll and pasting it ino the LML file. Then I got a similar warning about another file when I opened the mod manager. I copied that file into the LML file. There were 4-5 files it I got messages on and then the mod loader was finally happy. Hope this helps anyone else out with a similar issue.@lgoins I would not recommend using the mod manager as it is more of a pain than manually installing. And I think the mod manager was actually asking you to select the game folder, not the lml folder.

@Thegamerman LML does not indicate ingame if it is working. Looking at the folder, log files are being generated, so I believe it is working.
Do you have any lml mods installed? If not, the game will act like that lml is not installed.
Also remove dinput8.dll as version.dll does the same thing and I would want to eliminate that as a possible problem.

I use version.dll from asi loader but the same game crashes and the same with outfit changer. Is autor dead?
@Aztec2012 Remove NativeInterop.dll if you have LML installed.

Yeah once I installed this the game just crashes launching Story Mode, no error whatsoever.

@snarkz691 @NateHiggers Make sure that you use version.dll from asi loader, not the version.dll that comes included with Lenny's Simple Trainer.

To anyone having an issue with this causing your game to crash. The Version.dll is outdated, and you need a newer version.
Replace the Version.dll given with lenny's simple trainer with the one found here:
@Lord Nibbles And if you have version.dll already, make sure that you dont accidentally overwrite it with the one included.

57 minutes ago, Pro Crastination said:The problem that most people are describing seemed to be due to Version.dll file included in this download being out of date. The mod should work perfectly if you replace it with the one found here:
@Pro Crastination LMS should remove or update the included asi loader so that users don't accidentally install the old version.dll. The included asi loader is probably contributing to the issues that users are getting.

@BlackAppaX Try unblocking the files that you downloaded. It is in my troubleshooting guide under section 2.
If that does not fix the issue, remove NativeInterop.dll as it is known to cause RDR2 to crash.

@BlackAppaX The beeps are not coming from asi loader, it is coming from lst or outfit changer. Also don't remove the ScriptHook else asi mods wont work and can cause the game to crash. Make sure that you are using the latest version of rdr2 and that you are using the latest version of lml. Also use ab's ScriptHook. Make sure that you install lml and that ScriptHook is installed at the same time.

@shadowcreed4 That is the mod manager, not LML. LML is probably working, but you will have to install the mods manually.

@SenyuYou need to use that latest version of RDR2 for the latest version of lml, ab scripthookrdr2, and asi loader.

Send link "rdr2_1436_31_test_lml.zip
@Babak You can just download the latest LML version on this page, use Ab's scripthookrdr2, and Asi loader.

Vfs.asi is still making me go through a infinite loading screen. All the mods are updated Scripthook and the Asi loader. When I remove vfs.Asi from my directory it loads in fine. I wish someone had actual fix to this issue I’ve tried everything I could think of
@Themac Make sure that you are using ab's scripthookrdr2 as it got updated to work with the latest version of the game.

Guys, who can tell me what is that? Rampage trainer is working, but other asi mods (buyable properties and seats) don't. I can't understand it
@rockybread Make sure that you update ScriptHookRDR2 with ab's script hook.

Lenny's Simple Trainer 1.4.1 is was out of date.
it was last Updated July 13, 2021 so it no longer works ingame.
iommend using ScriptHookRDR2 with Rampage_1.0.1436.31
here is a video on how to install it@Sojourn It still actually works in the latest version of the game, but I would prefer Rampage regardless as it has more features.

Followed all instructions and watched the video but my LML doesn't work or rather it cant find the LML folders..?
It doesnt work with Rockstar launcher. Probably would've been nice to give us a heads up.
@kamakaziPython Make sure that there is a folder called lml in the game directory. Make sure that you have a asi loader and a scripthook. Also lml will not do anything if you have no lml mods in the lml folder.
-
Make sure that you have the latest version of LML (Beta 10) and that you updated version.dll (Asi loader)

@GarGarmacmac Make sure you are using ab's scripthook: http://www.dev-c.com/rdr2/scripthookrdr2/
It got updated to work with the latest version of the game. The scripthook on nexus has some issues with asi mods. -

@PH4NT0M99 Make sure that you are using ab's scripthookrdr2. It got updated to work with the latest version. The script hook on nexusmods has some issues that breaks some mods.

@BobMaddock I assume that you fixed the issue yourself, but ab's scripthookrdr2 got updated so you should use ab's. The alternative on nexusmods has some issues with native caching and that was causing some issues with mods.
Lenny's Mod Loader RDR
in Tools
@D1mossa Beta 10 is not broken, make sure that you are running the latest version of the game. Also make sure that you have a asi loader installed.
