Ever wished Lenny could ride with Arthur beyond the main story? This companion mod brings Lenny Summers back to the frontier as a fully functional companion. Ride together across the heartlands, get into shootouts, explore towns, and experience new adventures with one of the gang’s most beloved members by your side.

COMBAT
------
• Combat movement tuned for companions (cover use, flanking, chase, no fleeing from combat).
• When you take cover on foot, Lenny can be nudged to seek cover toward the active threat (throttled).
• Toggle combat style: Defensive (cover-first) vs Wingman (more aggressive advance) 

  Wingman- Lenny plays aggressive. He’ll push forward, get on enemies, and fight like he’s trying to take ground with you. Good for open  fights, clearing camps, or when you want pressure, not hiding.
   Defensive- Lenny plays safe. He’ll use cover more, hang back, and act like he’s trying not to get shredded. Good for shootouts behind wagons/walls, being outnumbered, or when you’re tired of him running into bullets.
• After a fight, weapons are holstered cleanly before follow resumes
• During fights, you’ll hear ambient combat chatter, including directional callouts when enemies are on your left or right.


HORSES & VEHICLES

• Summon or dismiss Lenny’s horse from the lock-on prompt
• Player horse whistle: Lenny mirrors the gesture and his horse returns to him when applicable.
• Wagons / stagecoaches: Lenny can enter the player’s vehicle with you and exits cleanly when you leave 

INTERACTION

CAMPFIRE BEHAVIOR

• Patrol mode: user-triggered wander guard around a chosen spot
• when YOU sit at a world campfire, Lenny can walk to a spot across the fire and cycle ambient camp scenarios (sit ground, warm hands, etc.). Combat interrupts this so he can defend you.


KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS

• F5 — Spawn ( Wait for Lenny)
• F6 — Dismiss companion.

REQUIREMENTS & INSTALLATION
--------------------
• Requires ScriptHookRDR2 and a compatible ASI loader 
• Extract the archive and put Companion.asi into the game folder.

Important Notes

-This is my very first mod, so it’s not perfect yet. Please report any bugs you encounter, and I’ll do my best to fix them. Suggestions for new features are also welcome.

-I have made Lenny invincible for now since he dies too easily at the moment.
