  1. You lose all items, money, weapons, ammo, food, etc upon dying and also your cores are reset. (Except in missions)

Your cash, cores, position, weapons, and all items including ammo are persistent. They are always saved, and always restored when the game opens again.

This mod becomes the main truth for your cash, cores, position, weapons, and all items.

The default game save system is garbage, with this there is zero failure points.

If you die you lose all your stuff. Say goodbye to endlessly acquiring new stuff you will never use. Now everything matters.

No cheating death even if you close the game after dying. No way of selling items to a fence, closing the game, and still having the stuff you sold.

If you hunt for food and cook it, but close the game after, the default game saving system would undo what you just did, however we have perfect persistence in this mod.

If you use a cigar or food item and close the game, your cores remember you used the item, and your inventory remembers it should be gone.

If you value persistence, and a hardcore experience where your actions finally matter, this is the mod you have been waiting for.

This doesn't ruin the story either, because it's hardcore loss upon death doesn't apply in missions.
