The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play RDRFR, can be found inside the RDRFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

No, you should never save your game while RDRFR is loaded (even if you are not on duty) or if you are using any other mods.

This includes saving your game manually, or using the game's autosave feature.

 

We highly recommend that you make a backup of your savegame before playing with any mods.
