ZEUS - GOD OF THUNDER

by Tamed Mods

Become the god of the storm in 1899. Call lightning down on anything you look

at, summon Mjolnir to your hand, and fly over the frontier with a thunderstorm

at your back.

THE LIGHTNING

This is the part I spent the most time on. Every bolt is generated from a

midpoint-displacement fractal, so the channel twists at every scale like a real

discharge instead of a jagged line. A dim stepped leader reaches toward the

ground first, then the return stroke fires down that same channel in a hard

flash and re-strikes it two or three more times. The ionized channel lingers as

an afterglow, a column of light rises out of the impact, and the ground keeps

crackling where it hit.

MJOLNIR

Equipped as a real weapon and held in your fist, crackling with power. Throw it

with the left mouse button - it homes onto a locked target, shocks and ragdolls

whoever it touches, and it always returns to your hand.

FLIGHT

Built around momentum. Tap SPACE to lift off, hold a direction to build speed,

boost with LSHIFT (tap it in mid-air to stack extra speed), and release

everything to settle into a stable auto-hover. Your body leans and banks through

turns. Touch down for a clean landing - or hit X in the air for a superhero

landing that craters the ground and throws everyone nearby.

THE REST OF THE POWERS

- Smite - a bolt strikes wherever you aim

- Chain Lightning - arcs from target to target

- Thunderclap - a shockwave that flattens everything around you

- Storm Call - a barrage of strikes rains down around you

- Divine Judgment - marks a target, then executes them

- Wrath of Olympus - the ultimate

- Aegis - a terror aura; the world cowers

- Eagle of Zeus - the Aetos Dios rides with you and carries bolts down

- Storm weather - roll a real thunderstorm over the map

REQUIREMENTS

- Red Dead Redemption 2 (PC)

INSTALLATION

1. Install ScriptHookRDR2 if you do not already have it.

2. Drop ZeusModRDR.asi and ZeusModRDR.ini into your RDR2 folder, next to

RDR2.exe.

3. Launch the game and press F10.

Keep both files together and keep their names - the mod loads the .ini that

matches its own filename.

CONFIGURATION

Everything lives in ZeusModRDR.ini - keys, damage, cooldowns, bolt size and

branching, flight feel, camera shake. Delete any line to fall back to its

default. A few worth knowing:

- BoltSize, BoltBranches, BoltDetail - how the lightning looks

- CamShakeStrength - one dial for all camera shake (CamShake=0 turns it off)

- ThrustSpeed, BoostMult - how flight feels

- HeroRadius, HeroForce, HeroDamage - the superhero landing

- GodMode - invincibility while Zeus Mode is on

TROUBLESHOOTING

A ZeusModRDR.log is written next to the .asi. If a power does not show up in

game, that file usually says why.
