TemperatureEffects is a visual enhancement mod for Red Dead Redemption 2 that adjusts environmental lighting and character shading based on cold and hot weather. When using Rampage Trainer to remove John’s shirt, the mod dynamically reflects temperature effects, adding realism and immersion to the game world. TemperatureEffects is a visual enhancement mod for Red Dead Redemption 2 that adds realistic visual responses to in-game temperatures—but only for John’s body when his shirt is removed using Rampage Trainer.
It may also work for Arthur, but this has not been fully tested. Users are encouraged to try it on Arthur and report results.
Important: This mod does NOT alter gameplay, stats, missions, or any other game mechanics. It only affects the appearance of exposed bodies in different temperatures.
What it does:
Updates skin tone, shadows, and highlights based on environmental temperature.
Cold areas (like Colter) make exposed bodies appear paler and colder.
Hot areas (like New Austin) make exposed bodies appear warmer and sunlit.
Dynamic, temperature-based visual effects trigger only when using Rampage Trainer to remove shirts.
What it does NOT do:
Does not change stats, health, or abilities.
Does not affect the environment, NPCs, animals, or missions.
Does not add new clothing options, textures, or gameplay mechanics.
Installation Instructions:
